Flight control systems engineer

 

Job description

As part of the development of our activities in the aeronautical simulation sector, we are looking for a Flight Control Systems Engineer to improve the immersion of our simulators.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Design, development and parameterization of flight models;
  • Technical solutions to improve the realism of flight simulators;
  • Set-up and installation at customer sites, discussions with aviation professionals including pilots (occasional travel required);
  • Rectification of flight parameters to meet customer requirements.
Candidater

Profile

Holder of a general engineering degree or equivalent Bac+5 with an aeronautics and IT component. You have skills in flight control parameterization or real expertise in avionics and piloting.

Skills required, ideally with 3-5 years’ experience:

  • Sound knowledge of aeronautics (flight mechanics, flight instruments and controls, etc.)
  • Knowledge of flight simulation issues
  • Knowledge of C, C++ and Python programming languages
  • Real experience of piloting will also be highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of mechatronics design would be a plus
  • Knowledge of X-Plane software would be a plus
  • Drafting of simulator qualification documents
  • Very good level of read and written English

Remuneration: between 36k and 44k depending on experience.
