The assets of the 6MOUV team for your project
For optimized simulator development, 6MOUV’s strategy is to favor autonomy and limit subcontracting. This means designing and manufacturing all the mechanical parts, developing all the software parts, subcontracting the machining of the mechanical structure, then carrying out integration and testing.
Wherever possible, we use off-the-shelf components, selected for their reliability and durability. We take particular care with the obsolescence of key components, so you can be sure that we’ll always be able to repair your flight simulator.
Our latest technologies make cockpit maintenance easy and guarantee a high level of service.
For cockpit elements such as controls, instrument panels, etc., we either use real aircraft parts or replicas, and wherever possible, we reproduce the behavior using our software. 6MOUV makes extensive use of the force feedback developed by its engineers to render a unique sensory rendering of flight controls.
Our expertise
Technical expertise
Thanks to its technical capabilities and its team of engineers, 6MOUV produces genuine flight training tools: aircraft cockpit simulators designed to immerse pilots in an environment identical to the aircraft.
Our teams are not organized in offices (design, methods, manufacturing) but work in an integrated mode in which each engineer designs, manufactures and tests the systems for which he is responsible in close collaboration with the customer, in particular to assist him in defining the specifications.
Unique skills
Helicopters
The simulation of the helicopter dynamics is one of the most difficult due to the complex aerodynamics induced by the rotor blades, vortices, turbulence and boundary layer separation.
For the new pilot, too, controlling the helicopter is a bit tricky, as the free motion is generally not stable. Many unusual effects are the subject of detailed courses and training.
The simulation program must faithfully reproduce the various effects such as ground effect, blade blast, turbulence, and requires advanced technical skills.
6MOUV has built and developed its expertise to produce professional helicopter simulators qualified by EASA and FAA.
The current technology can be applied to qualification ranges from EASA FNPT II to FTD 2 (FAA Level 5 to 7).
Flight loop
The development of flight models is part of 6MOUV’s know-how. Starting from an initial geometric model, 6MOUV makes the necessary modifications to bring it into line with the data recorded on real flights, in order to satisfy the requirements of the aeronautical authorities.
6MOUV has developed and offers several flight models to cover the widest possible training spectrum. (Robinson R22, Eurocopter AS 350 B2/B3, Eurocopter AS 355, H125, EC120, H215, B1900, B200, TB20…).
Any helicopter flight model can be developed to match the ones you fly every day.
6MOUV also has the skills to produce the Data Package from in-flight measurements using proprietary instrumentation and real know-how.
The cockpits can be declined in all analog, analog + EFIS (VEMD, HSI, GPS, etc) and all glass cockpit.
- VEMD = Vehicle and Engine Monitoring Display (VEMD)
- EFIS = Electronic Flight Instrument System
- HIS = Horizontal situation indicator
Avionics are represented by ranges from well-known manufacturers such as Garmin GNS, Rockwell Collins, Airbus VEMD, …
